What's a Flight Review?
A flight review is one of the two knowledge requirements for advanced operations. Flight reviewers are Transport Canada-approved drone pilots who can administer flight reviews. A flight reviewer assesses your ability to operate safely. Here is a list of skills that the flight reviewer will ask you to demonstrate.
Prerequisites
Before we conduct your flight review, you must pass the Advanced Exam, provide us with your ID and the certificate of registration for your drone. Transport Canada strongly recommends that you complete a exam preparation course like the one our drone school offers.
After the Flight Review
After you pass the flight review, you can apply for a Pilot Certificate – Advanced Operations. If you don't pass, you may schedule another review after 24 hours. There is no limit to the number of times you can retake a flight review.
